Will tickets be available at the gate on the day?

No, tickets must be purchased prior to the event. Get in quick to avoid disappointment.

Can I purchase tickets at a reduced price if I come midway through at the event?

Tickets are sold at full price regardless of the time you arrive on the event day

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

No refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind. 

Can I change the name on my ticket?
The name on your ticket needs to match I.D at the gate. 
In an effort to stop customers from being scammed we don’t allow names to be simply transferred. To ensure safe resale we have teamed up with Tixel who provides a facility where you can buy and sell securely.

Can I change the locations on my ticket?
No, tickets are only valid for the location they are purchased for and cannot be transferred to a different event.

I haven’t received my confirmation email/used the wrong email address?
Confirmations are sent automatically by email as soon as tickets are purchased. If you didn’t receive one the email address may have been entered incorrectly.

What form of ID do I need?
Patrons 18 years and over, attending any The Drop Festival event MUST provide valid photo ID at the gate. NO ID NO ENTRY.
Accepted forms of ID for patrons 18 years and over:
  • Current valid Australian Drivers License (with photo)
  • Current passport
  • Government issued proof of age card (eg. Keypass)
  • International Drivers License (with photo)
Patrons 13-17 years and attending an ALL AGES The Drop Festival event must provide valid photo ID at the gate to verify identity and age. Accepted forms of ID for patrons 13-17 years:
  • Current valid Australian Drivers License (with photo)
  • Current passport
  • Government issued proof of age card (eg. Keypass)
  • School ID card
No refunds will be processed for patrons who are denied entry for not providing accepted ID at the gate.
Children 12 years and under must be with a parent or legal guardian. Maximum 2 children per adult ticket. 
Will there be wristbands?

Upon entry to the festival all patrons will be issued a wristband. This must be worn for the duration of the festival. There will be no replacements for lost or broken wristbands. Wristbands are not to be transferred to friends. Any patrons found without a wristband will be immediately removed from the festival.

What if I lose my wristband?

No replacement wristbands will be issued. Any patrons found without a wristband will be immediately removed from the festival.

How do I remove my wristband?

Following the festival, the easiest way to remove the wristband is with scissors

Will EFTPOS be accepted on site?

Yes, EFTPOS will be accepted at the bars and stalls throughout the festival

What to Bring?

When packing your bag for the day please include the following

What kind of Cameras & recording devices can I bring with me?

No professional cameras (read: cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted without formal media accreditation. Similarly, no audio or film recording equipment can be brought into the Festival.

I have prescription medicines that need to be stored. Is this possible?

Yes. Please see our medical staff upon arrival at the festival

Will Passouts be available at The Drop Festival 2019?

No, once you have left the festival you won’t be able to return.

Will there be medical facilities on site?

There will be full first aid medical facilities available at all festival locations, If you require medical attention, please see one of our medical tents and first aid Tents. 

If you have any prescription medication that needs to be specially stored please see the medical team immediately upon arrival.

Will there be security at the festival?

Yes, there will be security presence at all festival locations.

Will there be Police presence?

Yes, there will be police present at all Drop festival locations in 2019. This will include drug detection sniffer dogs. Police will also be conducting RBT and MDT tests in the areas surrounding all festival sites.

Please take this into consideration when attending. You know the consequences.

Can we bring own food and drink to The Drop Festival?

No external food or beverages are allowed to be brought to any festival site.

You can bring unsealed EMPTY reusable water bottles to use throughout the day

What happens if it rains on the day?

The show must go on. We recommend bringing warm clothes and raincoats.

Can I go bare foot?

No! Shoes are necessary for all festival locations. Thongs and Sandals are fine but we highly recommend to wear enclosed footwear. 

Where do I report any lost or found articles?

Found: Please take any found items to festival staff. 

Lost: If you have lost something please check with our gate staff on the day or alternatively please email [email protected] and we will try our best to help you.


Will there be parking at the festival?

No, there will be no onsite parking at any of The Drop festival locations. Further information regarding where you can park can be found in the individual events section HERE

Are there buses to and from the event?

Yes, buses go to and from all of our locations. Further information regarding bus timetables can be found in the individual events section HERE

Artist Submissions

Can I summit my band/artist to perform at The Drop Festival?

We are no longer accepting artist submissions for 2019.


How can I get a Media pass?

Who do I call if I have a concern regarding the noise, litter or patron behaviour?

We will have a hotline set up for all festival locations and the number will be given to all local residents closer to the event dates.

Do I get a free ticket if I live close to the festival site?

We have a pre-determined radius surrounding all festival sites and will be contacting residents within closer to the event.

i) THE DROP FESTIVAL shall not be responsible for non-delivery or delay in delivery of any goods caused by force majeureand you shall be excused from performance of their respective obligations when and to the extent such performance is delayed or prevented by force majeure. If your need for the goods is reduced or suspended as a result of force majeure, and notification is within reasonable time of acceptance of the Order and prior to transfer of ownership, you shall be entitled to terminate the agreement.
